KSI vs Swarmz and Pineda LIVE! Boxing fight stream, TV channel, latest updates and undercard results
KSI is back in a boxing ring at London’s O2 Arena tonight as he looks to pull off a remarkable feat by winning two fights on the same card. All eyes will be fixed on the YouTube star and musician as he first takes on fellow rapper Swarmz, who stepped up at late notice after a concussion sustained by original opponent Alex Wassabi.
KSI will then do battle with a professional boxer in the shape of Luis Alcaraz Pineda, the Mexican with a 2-5 record from his opening seven fights. Both bouts are being staged at cruiserweight and will be limited to three rounds apiece, with KSI looking to make an emphatic statement in front of a sold-out O2 Arena and hometown London crowd.
He has not fought since outpointing Logan Paul on his professional debut in Los Angeles in November 2019, having previously drawn with the same opponent and beat Joe Weller on his introduction to the sweet science. KSI is targeting massive fights against the likes of Jake Paul and Tommy Fury in future as his war of words continues with the former.
Saturday’s DAZN: X Series event includes several other crossover fights, including KSI’s brother Deji, who takes on American YouTuber Fousey.

Liger movie release and review LIVE UPDATES: Vijay Deverakonda ‘shines’ but Puri Jagannadh film fails to impress fans
Vijay Deverakonda starrer Liger movie release live updates: Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishna and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles. Legendary boxer Mike Tyson will make an extended cameo appearance in the film.

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Liger is out in cinemas. The pan-Indian film, directed by Puri Jagannadh, follows the story of a boxer who fights against odds to make his mark. Liger is releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The promos and songs of Liger have not divulged the film’s story. The Dharma Productions-Puri Connects film has been in the making for three years and faced many delays due to the pandemic. It also stars Mike Tyson and Ramya Krishnan in significant roles.
Film trade analyst Girish Johar said that the audience is looking forward to Liger. “Dharma Productions is going all out in promoting the film. They haven’t fallen short in promoting the film in all nooks and towns of the country. The craze among the audience is huge, which is evident from the crowd that gathers to catch a glimpse of Ananya and Vijay at the promotional events,” he told indianexpress.com.
Film distributor Akshaye Rathi said, “The movie appeals to the common man of India, the mass audience in Tier 2 and 3 cities that goes to single screens, so it will be big on the current bookings. People will go to the cinemas in big numbers on the day of its release rather than booking tickets in advance.” Vijay and Ananya have been on a national tour to promote the film.
Deepak, who manages box office tracking website AndhraBoxOffice.com, said the film could open at Rs 35 crore. He told ndianexpress.com, “Liger should double the opening day collection of Dear Comrade. Between that film and Liger, a lot of things have changed. The market has become bigger and is more dynamic now. I think Dear Comrade’s worldwide collection was about Rs 18 crore. And I think Liger will make gross nearly Rs 35 crore on its release day.”
McLaren and Ricciardo to split ahead of 2023 after buyout

Daniel Ricciardo and McLaren will split at the end of the Formula One season after a buyout was negotiated with the Australian on the final year of his contract.
Ricciardo held the option on 2023 for his seat at McLaren but his performance has been underwhelming through 35 races. Although he did score McLaren’s first Formula One victory since 2012 with a win last September at Monza, Ricciardo has been outperformed by teammate Lando Norris nearly every race weekend.
The 33-year-old Ricciardo has just one podium with McLaren and only 19 points this season. Norris has one podium this season and 76 points.
“This will be my last year with McLaren. Obviously we put in a lot of effort on both sides, but it just hasn’t worked the way we wanted, so the team has decided to make a change for next year,” Ricciardo said in a video message posted to his social media platforms Wednesday.
“I think for the future, what lies ahead, I am not sure yet. I am not sure yet. But we’ll see. I look back on this time with McLaren, I look back with a smile. I learned a lot about myself, I think things that will help me for the next step in my career, but I think just in general in life.”
McLaren head Zak Brown in May acknowledged that Ricciardo’s seat was shaky and said there were “mechanisms” in which the driver and team could split ahead of the 2023 season. The mechanism turned out to be a buyout since Ricciardo held the option on next season.
Although initial reports suggested Ricciardo was seeking more than $20 million to exit the team early, it is believed McLaren paid $15 million to end the contract.
McLaren is widely believed to have signed F2 champion Oscar Piastri, also an Australian, for Ricciardo’s seat. No announcement has been made by McLaren, but Piastri has declined a promotion to F1 with Alpine.
“Daniel has been a great addition to McLaren, and it’s been a pleasure working with him,” said Brown. “It’s no secret that we hoped we could achieve more together but seeing him stand on the top step of the podium as a McLaren driver was a highlight.”
Following the Monza victory, Brown and Ricciardo visited a tattoo parlor in Texas so that Brown could commemorate the win with a permanent inking of the Monza circuit on his arm. He also rewarded Ricciardo by allowing him to drive the late Dale Earnhardt’s iconic No. 3 Chevrolet stock car in a demonstration at Circuit of the Americas. Brown owns the car and Ricciardo idolized Earnhardt as a child.
Ricciardo said it was difficult not to get the on-track results he desired since joining McLaren ahead of the 2021 season. His Monza victory is Ricciardo’s only podium since.
“From a results point of view, to consistently get the results and that form that I was after, it wasn’t always there and it made some weekends tough. I felt those, absolutely,” said Ricciardo, who added he’s not done racing.
“The sport, I still love it. I still love it. I still have that fire in me, that belief in my belly that I can do this at the highest level. All that stuff is still there,” he said. “This isn’t it for me, but yeah, we’ll see what lies ahead.”
McLaren team principal Andreas Seidl thanked Ricciardo for his “dedication and contribution” since joining the team.
“Despite the shared challenges, he has always turned up with a fighting spirit and positivity and helped the entire team to always keep pushing forward,” Seidl said. “We will never forget that memorable race win in Monza which was a great boost for the whole team. We still have an important battle in the constructors’ championship ahead of us for the remainder of the season and we look forward to battle this out with Daniel and Lando.”
Norris and Ricciardo helped McLaren to a fourth-place finish in the constructors championship last season.
Ricciardo, one of the most popular drivers in F1, is in his 12th season and has eight career victories.
Why Barcelona and Man City played a friendly in middle of the season
European giants play a 3-3 draw but the match was to raise awareness for ALS, a life-threatening disease that former Barcelona player and coach, and Pep Guardiola’s close friend, Unzue has been diagnosed with.

A mid-week clash between two European heavyweights would largely be reserved for the Champions League but on Wednesday night, Barcelona and Manchester City faced each other in a friendly match, which ended in a 3-3 draw.
The timing and the purpose of the match raised quite a few eyebrows, given that it is not usual for teams to play a friendly game in the middle of a league season. This game, however, went beyond footballing reasons.
This game was played to raise funds to support the research for the cure to ALS disease. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is a degenerative-neuro disease that has no cure at present and has life expectancy of four to five years.
In 2020, Juan Carlos Unzue, a former Barcelona assistant manager and a close friend of Pep Guardiola, the ex-manager of the Catalan giants who is now in charge of Manchester City, was diagnosed with ALS.
In emotional scenes Camp Nou, Unzue kicked off the match in front of 91,062 fans and even addressed the Barcelona players in the dressing room.
“I thank Barcelona and Manchester City first. I want to thank everyone who came here, everyone who bought a ticket, and everyone who donates. Everyone who is fighting against the disease,” the former Barcelona player was quoted as saying by the Spanish media.
Guardiola said post-match: “The artist here is Unzué, who made this possible, because of his stubbornness and all his people pushing and pushing to do it. It’s been a beautiful summer night, the stadium was full, and it was a fun game, six goals, chances for both sides. Congratulations.”
The two clubs will now shift focus to their domestic leagues. Barcelona, coached by Xavi, are two games into their La Liga campaign, having drawn one and won one.
Although unbeaten in three matches, Manchester City dropped points for the first time this season after they were held to a 3-3 draw by Newcastle United.
